Florence Broadhurst for Kate Spade Tour Bus Pop-up
David and I are in L.A. for a long weekend with the family, and we popped over to The Grove this afternoon for a bit of shopping. And weren’t we lucky that the Florence Broadhurst x Kate Spade pop-up bus was parked front and center!
We love everything Kate and Jack Spade — they simply have the most beautiful and fun product and the most gorgeous, whimsical and unique retail formats. So leave it to Kate to roll-out a stunning tour bus pop-up shop to celebrate their collaboration with Australian artist Florence Broadhurst. If you happen to be in one of the cities where the bus is parking you should definitely pop in for the fun! I took a few pics of the bus and pieces that are totally lustworthy.

Brad Goreski’s Star Continues to Rise
He has held a special place in my fashion heart since premiering on The Rachel Zoe Project, and now that he’s gone off on his own I’ve only grown to respect (and crush on) the man that much more. Famous for his über preppy style, bow ties, and severe glasses, Brad’s been adding a pop of color to Monday nights on Bravo for five weeks now. And last nights episode was one of the best yet!
Brad recently sat down with Mediabistro to discuss his recent life and adventures. This is the first in a three-part series of the discussion with Brad, and in this part you see him discuss his view on the parting with Rachel.
And on a side note, while it is always incredibly interesting and inspiring to watch Brad work his styling magic and hustle for his next gig, it has been the non-work related, real-life moments where he and his long-term boyfriend, Gary Janetti, interact that have totally won me over. It’s not very often, as a gay man, that you see honest, real long-term relationships portrayed on TV in a way that doesn’t fit into silly gay stereotype. Its encouraging and comforting to see a relationship, much like mine, play out each week on It’s A Brad, Brad World.

Brad Goreski Has Blonde Ambition
It’s A Brad, Brad World premiered last night on Bravo, and I couldn’t have been more excited. Though maybe I’m a bit obsessed — I’ve watched the show three times since 10 PM yesterday. And it just may be playing again on my TiVo as I write this. But I’ve absolutely adored Brad since he first graced my big, shiny flat screen several years back on The Rachel Zoe Project. And way back in the first season of TRZP I was cheering for Brad to have his own Bravo show. Well, it looks like some wishes do come true.
Brad is charming and effervescent, disarmingly witty, relatable and raw with an over the top amount of sparkle that is so natural. Last nights premiere introduced us to Brad’s life post RZP and his struggle to find gigs and stay busy, and ironically – find an assistant. We also get a look at Brad’s domestic life with his boyfriend, Gary. Of their 10 year relationship Brads says: “We’re almost lesbians.”
When I was younger I was obsessed with Madonna’s Truth or Dare. And it lit a fire inside of me that said no matter what I want to do; I’m going to have to go at it full force. Sometimes I do picture myself with a braided long pony-tail on the top of my head, and a headset, and a little magnifying glass…and I know that deep down inside of me I have blonde ambition, and that’s the thing that keeps me going.

It’s About To Be A Brad, Brad World
We’ve been big fans of Brad Goreski here at MD since he first popped up on our TV screen in his brightly colored, sparkly ensembles and killer glasses on Bravo’s, The Rachel Zoe Project. We all know that Brad and Rachel “broke up” a while back, and Rachel made no effort to conceal her feelings of betrayal on this past season of her hit show.
Well, beginning Jan. 2 Brad is back on Bravo with his own show It’s a Brad, Brad World. If all the apparent angst coming from the Zoe camp is real and not just drama for the sake of a good TV rivalry, we doubt that she’ll be sitting on her white sofa to catch the show. Or, maybe she’ll be glued to her TV seething in some gorgeous vintage Chanel…
In any event, we can’t wait to catch up with the adorable stylist and watch as he builds a name and brand for himself. There is no denying that Brad is talented and entertaining. The Daily Beast has an interview with Brad in advance of the shows premiere where he discusses everything from the truth around the split from Zoe, Demi Moore, the show, and his forthcoming book, Born to Be Brad:
On her show, Zoe alleged that Goreski attempted to steal her clients. “That’s not the truth,” he says now. “And she knows that’s not the truth. I didn’t even say goodbye to a lot of her clients because I didn’t want anything to be misconstrued as me soliciting anybody.” (Goreski has styled Zoe’s client, Demi Moore, but says he works with her “whenever she calls me.”)

Daily Inspiration: Brad Goreski’s Olive Blazer via STREETFSN
I’m really loving Brad’s olive blazer paired with the rust plaid and knit tie. Green isn’t a typical route men take when choosing a blazer, but I think we should see more options in this shade. Oh, and it doesn’t hurt to have the iconic Grace Coddington’s shock of red in the background.

Daily Lust: Zara Red Double-Breasted Coat
I adore a red trench on a man. Brad Goreski wore a 3.1 Phillip Lim trench in an episode of The Rachel Zoe Project a few years back and I’ve been searching for it ever since. While I haven’t found it yet, Zara may have answered my prayers to the fashion gods. I think that this trench is gorgeous and a great modern take with classic details. Perhaps a bit too clean lined for me personally, I am dying over this coat and someone I know must own it. Available at Zara, $249.
Because the World Needs More of Rachel Zoe
I still can’t decide if I’m as big a fan of The Rachel Zoe Project sans Brad. Rachel and Roger are still as neurotic and entertaining as ever, but after a few episodes I just haven’t warmed up to Jeremiah (no offense, dude. I’m sure you are cool as hell.). And I’ve never been on board with team Joey. That being said, my favorite episode so far (there have only been four as of today, right?) is when Jerimiah helps Rachel furnish and style her new home. While all white is perhaps not the most practical design for a couple with a new baby, the house is incredibly chic and beautiful (okay, so maybe I do like Jeremiah…) and you just wouldn’t expect anything else from Rachel. If you haven’t seen the episode yet or if you just want to see more if the house, never fear, Bravo has your back. Check out a photo gallery dedicated exclusively to the new Berman abode.

Daily Lust: Nautica Spring ’12 Red Trench
I L-O-V-E a good red trench. A few years ago Brad Goreski wore an incredible 3.1 Phillip Lim red trench on The Rachel Zoe Project, and I’ve been looking for that coat in vintage shops and online ever since with no luck. While not a Phillip Lim, I can’t wait for the spring collections to hit the stores because this puppy from Nautica is coming home with me.
