Alber Ebaz and Lucas Ossendrijver are moving fashion forward in a very relevant, wearable way. Where so many shows have paid homage to the past, updated classic looks, or gone far into the future; Lanvin showed what their guy wants to wear now. With a slight nod to the 70′s, Lanvin decided that their guy wanted to express himself in new shapes while projecting and sense of power with an urban sensibility (i.e. large and dropped shoulders, cinched waists, and elongated trousers).
The collection is strong, gorgeously cut, and completely covetable. Score another win for Ebaz and the Lanvin team.
