Drew is obsessed with Maine, and particularly L.L. Bean in Freeport. There’s another classic American company in Freeport: Eastland Shoe. Maine made since 1955, the shoes have a classic New England look and traditional Maine names (Seneca, Falmouth). Selectism saw them at Capsule NY and learned that, starting this fall, they’ll emphasize their all-American heritage in their marketing. Good for them! It’s great to see a classic American brand thrive.
