Don Fisher’s Art Collection

Don Fisher has many legacies — The Gap, tremendous support for education — but perhaps his greatest gift to the people of San Francisco is his art collection.  Don and Doris Fisher have built an amazing collection of modern art: Calder, Chuck Close, Warhol, David Hockney, Gerhard Richter, and on and on.  In this video, Fisher takes the San Francisco Chronicle’s art critic through his collection.  The collection will be housed at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, not in the Presidio as stated in the video.
