That’s Pact Organic Underwear’s goal. 10% of each sale goes to support an eco-friendly cause: protecting forests, the ocean or increasing literacy. This looks to be the real thing, with organic fabric, non-toxic dyes, a factory held to high social and environmental standards, and a supply chain that minimizes carbon output.
Pact is (predictably) based in Berkeley. But they’re not selling your run-of-the-mill vegan hemp drab beige briefs. They’ve hooked up with designer Yves Behar to design boldly colored and patterned underwear, each subtlety themed to match the cause they support. For boys, Pact has trunks, boxer briefs and boxers.
