We were in LA a couple weeks ago due to a family emergency. I ended up staying 2 weeks, but had only packed for a couple days. What to do? Drew took me to Gap, of course. I’m generally resistant to plaid — it’s struck me as retro boring. Boy, was I wrong. Gap has some great spring shirts.
This got me looking — surely this trend wasn’t limited to the Gap. Turns out’s it’s not. A bit of searching lead me to All Plaidout, who found that… Context has found some super-mod shirts (all based on 70s and 80s patterns) Gitman Brothers Vintage shirts.
Never ones to be out done, J.Crew and Barneys both have some plaid hotness. At Barneys: a Rouges Gallery Madras shirt and an Engineered Garments Madras plaid scarf. So, go ahead, plaid it up.

I LOVE that Dave is on here now too!
It’s fun! And I’m hoping my posting will spur Drew to post more. Since his style sense and vision for the site far exceeds mine.
