Unless you live in Europe, a gay man, or a “hipster” (can’t believe I just used that term), then you may not know about Dirk Bikkembergs. I was checking out his latest collection and thought I’d share. Think: Tom of Finland meets Love Boat meets an English football team. Watch the full show HERE (give it a second to load). Once you look beyond the shtick, the show is quite good (and quite entertaining). Dirk gives us a great look at his ideal idea of athletic and resort wear, and in the process, shows some fantastic pieces, particularly outerwear. He takes fabric traditionally used in athletic wear and shows us how to dress it up. Though I am not sure if the models were told to walk that way, or had “help” to make them walk that way…
