Let’s Go Hunting (sorta)

Last weekend I ventured out of my usual neighborhood haunts to the Mission. I always forget about all the cute / fun shops on Valencia.  One of the most unique shops I have ever been in is Paxton Gate.  Paxton Gate is a curious shop that specializes in the odd and well….curious.  Think african safari (“Dr. Livingston, I presume?”) meets Martha Stewart. Taxidermied  animals (lions and tigers and bears oh my!), exotic plants, and fabulous home goods greet you when you walk in.  There is literally a little adventure around each corner.  And be sure to check out the pirate shop next door.  Yes, I said pirate shop.  Seriously.
